Youth Camp

A highlight of the summer for the youth of "The Creek" is youth camp.  Youth camp is held in early June each year.  A total of nearly 200 young people and counselors are divided into teams for the week.  Each team participates in numerous activities including Bible study, Bible Bowl, organized sports, and team games.  The winning team gets the "honor" of covering Bro. Nathan with shaving cream!  Another highlight of youth camp is great food prepared by our own cooks!  About 50 adult volunteers from the church are involved as counselors, cooks, and camp staff. 

The youth praise band leads the group in worship each night and the camp pastor brings the evening message.  Over the years, many young people have made life-changing decisions at youth camp. 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is held nightly one week during June or July each year.  There are classes for all ages, from preschool through high school.  There is also an adult class in the auditorium.  Many volunteers are needed each year,  including teachers, van drivers, and those willing to help with crafts, music, or refreshments.  VBS is a highlight each summer at The Creek.  The friendly competition between the boys and girls to see which group has the largest penny donation is always exciting.  Those pennies are donated to missions or other outreach ministries.
