Kidz Kamp

Kidz Kamp is an annual three-day event for children in third through sixth grades.  The first weekend in September, the Trace Creek campus is transformed into a retreat for kids.  Under the direction of the Next Generation "construction crew" children's ministry, Kidz Kamp attendees learn Biblical truths, participate in team-building events, and develop relationships with one another.  We conclude this event on Sunday morning with a joint service where parents are invited to attend.

Homecoming

The first Sunday in October is Homecoming Sunday.  The Trace Creek family, friends, and former members gather on this day to renew acquaintances and to reflect on the Lord's blessings upon this body of believers.  The day begins with special singing, and a potluck meal follows the morning worhsip service.  For the past several years, the Homecoming Sunday offering has been designated to assist other faith-based ministries in our area.

Fun Night

Fun Night is a safe Halloween alternative for children through the sixth grade and is held in the Family Life Center on October 31 each year.  Fun Night offers the kids a variety of activities in which to participate, including numerous games with prizes, a dunking booth, hay ride, and a puppet show.  There's even an "Itty Bitty City" with games and activities designed for the very youngest.  And, of course, each child receives plenty of candy!  Costumes are welcome, but no ghosts, goblins, witches, or other scary costumes.
