Our Children's Ministry desires to partner with parents in leading children to KNOW, LOVE and SERVE Jesus Christ.

We understand that it is the responsibility of the child's parents or guardians to be their spiritual leader. We want to come alongside parents to encourage and equip them to be all that God desires for their homes.

Please take a moment and browse through some of the opportunities that exist that can help partner with your family.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: And you shall teach them diligently to your children…”

NURSERY (Birth - 24 months)

The Lord continues to bless us with Infants, Crawlers and Toddlers who need the love of Christ. We realize the awesome responsibility we have in making an impact in the lives of these little ones. The nursery ministry enables the parents of these young children to become actively involved in Bible study and ministry. It also gives us the opportunity to show love, care, and compassion to each child at a very impressionable age. Childcare for this age group is provided for all weekly services (2nd Sunday AM service, Sunday PM & Wednesday PM).

PRESCHOOL  (2 yr olds - Preschool 4&5 yr olds)

The Preschool ministry provides parents a safe and loving childcare environment in which they can confidently place their children under the care of teachers who wish to show Christ's love. Preschool children can and are developing the foundational truths of God's character. The Sunday School time (9:00-10:00am) is focused instruction time that leads children through the Old & New Testament. The curriculum that is used is called HeartShaper.

On Sunday mornings starting at 9:00 am we have Sunday School classes for all ages of children up to the 6th grade. In class, kids are taught the stories and truths of God’s Word in a fun, interesting, and age-appropriate manner.

HEARTSHAPER CIRRICULUM is used by every Sunday school class from infants to our 6th Graders. Read on to find out why we feel so strongly about this cirriculum...

How Does it Work

HeartShaper focuses on helping our children love God and His Word.  Through multisensory learning techniques, HeartShaper introduces our kids to God, His Son, His Word, and His Church.  HeartShaper integrates Bible skills into every lesson and each age level builds upon skills taught in the one before it.  Toddlers focus on one Bible concept each month, middle elementary children will take a journey through the Bible chronologically, and preteens will discover answers from God’s word to the questions they currently face.  Through HeartShaper’s focus on biblical literacy, kids will study through the Bible five times by the time they reach 6th grade.

Pre-K Children’s Church (2 yr olds - Preschool 4&5 yr olds)

On Sunday mornings, preschool children can remain in the Sunday School classroom for Children’s Church. The Children’s Church team is made up of a team of weekly or rotating leaders that are committed to providing a Christ-like example for your child. Each volunteer has a background check. During the Children's Church hour, children participate in circle time, snack time, preschool choir, and free time for play in our play centers.
